1. About these terms
These Terms of Use govern your use of litewait.ai and the LiteWait early-access list (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Litehouse, DBS Heritage House, Prescot Road, Fort, Mumbai 400001 ("Litehouse", "we", "us"). By using the Service or joining the early-access list, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service is not yet a medical service
LiteWait is preparing to launch. At present the Service only lets you register interest and verify your mobile number. No consultation, diagnosis, prescription, treatment or medicine is provided through this website today.
Information on this website is general in nature. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for advice from a registered medical practitioner. Do not start, stop or change any medicine or treatment based on this website. In a medical emergency, call 112 or go to the nearest hospital.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and resident in India to join the early-access list. By joining, you confirm that the details you provide are your own, accurate and complete.
4. Early access
Joining the list does not create a doctor-patient relationship, a subscription or any obligation to pay. It also does not guarantee that the Service will launch in your city, or on any particular date. Plans, features and prices shown on the website are indicative and may change before launch. Final terms will be shared with you before you sign up for any paid plan.
5. Mobile number verification
We verify mobile numbers with a one-time password (OTP) sent by SMS. You must only enter a mobile number that belongs to you or that you are authorised to use. Standard SMS charges from your operator may apply. We limit the number of OTP requests to protect users and the Service from misuse.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit another person's details without their permission;
- use bots, scripts or automated means to access the Service or to request OTPs;
- attempt to interfere with, test the security of, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems;
- use the Service for any unlawful, misleading or harmful purpose.
We may block access or remove registrations that breach these terms.
7. Third-party services
We use trusted service providers to run the Service, including Cloudflare (website hosting, security and database) and Twilio (SMS delivery of OTPs). Their handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual property
The LiteWait name, logo, website content and design belong to Litehouse or its licensors. You may view the website for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute its content without our written permission.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not give any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Litehouse is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or the early-access list. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. If a change is material, we will tell you by SMS or email where we hold your contact details.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
